Moscow, Russia (RIA Novosti) Aug 26, 2010Russia's newest strategic nuclear-powered submarine, the Borey-class Yury Dolgoruky, started a series of sea trials in the White Sea, the Sevmash shipyard said on Thursday. Deployment Of Torpedoes Mothballed After Kursk DisasterMoscow, Russia (RIA Novosti) Aug 19, 2010 A unique torpedo that was withdrawn from use after the Kursk submarine tragedy should be returned to the Russian Navy, a former North Fleet commander has said. The Kursk nuclear-propelled submarine sank in the Barents Sea on August 12, 2000, following an onboard torpedo explosion, killing all 118 crewmembers. Then Navy chief Adm.
