Contractor Booz Allen Hamilton has been tapped by the U.S. Marine Corp to provide evaluation support for operational resourcing decisions.

The five-year, $48.6 million award involves the company leading a team of six other businesses in assessing plans, programs and budgets for the Marine Corps in areas such as force structure, manpower, aviation readiness, ground vehicle modernization, information technology and infrastructure planning.

Specific services will include cost analysis, strategic planning, operations research, modeling and simulations, advanced data science and cloud solutions.

"Booz Allen is known for high-end technical and analytical capabilities and the ability to bring innovative approaches to complex issues," said Jennifer Ezring, senior associate at Booz Allen. "We combine this expertise with a deep understanding of the operational demands and budget constraints that the Marine Corps and other branches of the U.S. military have to balance today.

"Our unique background will allow us to provide HQMC leaders with the kinds of comprehensive and objective analyses that ensure available resources are allocated in a way that guarantees a maximum return on investment and the greatest possible support for our Marines."
