The contract, from Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, was announced Thursday by the Defense Department in a deal worth more than $106.7 million under the terms of a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.
The contract enables the company to provide airborne training simulations, according to the Defense Department.
The airborne training simulations will provide both aircraft squadron aircrew and shipboard operators with simulated training in order to surmount a counter response, including the recognition of airborne threats, tactics, electronic warfare and electronic attack operations.
Work on the contract will occur in Fallon, Nev., with the contract running through May 2023.
More than $6.2 million will be obligated to Tactical Air Support Inc. at time of award from Navy fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds, the Pentagon said.
